Why is NAR prohibiting the publication of compensation on an MLS?

NAR has continued to maintain and believe that cooperative compensation is a good thing and benefits buyers and sellers. However, continuing litigation would hurt members and their small businesses so the rule was created as part of the settlement agreement.
